What is Forest Therapy?

Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing or "Shinrin-Yoku" in Japanese is a nature- based intervention where, through a series of guided invitations, you will immerse yourself in the forest environment and deepen your connection with the natural world.

"Shinrin-Yoku" emerged in Japan in the 1980s as a response to a public health crisis caused by 'technostress'. It was recognised that our fast-paced technology reliant lives are having a serious impact on our health, and that slowing down and spending time in nature could be the best form of therapy.
